Stuff

Sitting here waiting fdor an interview for an internship I am not even sure I want. At my huisband's work. Can carpool three times a week. Yet I will be away from my kids, and probably not be there when Ray comes home from his first day of preschool...sniffle. Mahdi....My brother is trying to talk me into actually reading the Harry Potter books, haven't yet... think I should? More later, talk to you all soon. P.S. As far as jm_lizard's shower goes... how does everyone else feel about going in together on one of the better gifts? Since I know none of us can afford it alone, probably including jm himself.

Yes, you ought to read them. They're far better than I expected. I started reading them at my sister's urging, and I expected "good, but obviously juvenile." I got "Damned good, and not particularly juvenile." And each book is a little more sophisticated and less straightforward, indicating that Rowling is writing so that the books keep up with the kids who started reading in the beginning.
